Five stars all the way for See U Morning! I stopped by for breakfast and honestly, this place just hits different. Opening early around 7:30 in the morning is such a win—most spots around here don’t even think about Chinese breakfast that early, so being able to grab something solid before the day gets going feels perfect. The food overall is delicious and really authentic-tasting, like the kind of street-style morning meal you’d find back home. Everything comes out fresh, and you can tell they put care into the ingredients. I tried the salty soy milk and it was okay. The toppings and ingredients themselves were good—nice bits of green onion, cilantro, and all that—but I personally think it could use a bit more salt to really bring out the savory flavor. Still, it paired well with the other items and didn’t ruin anything. What really stood out for me were the Chinese Crepe Jianbing (the guozi version with all the good stuff) and the Egg-Stuffed Chinese Dough Stick. The jianbing was crispy on the outside, soft inside, with that perfect mix of egg, sauce, and crunch from the toppings. Very small place. It has limited seating. It has about 6-7 tables inside. Right now they have tables outside. But not sure when Trung Nguyen opens, will they allow them to set up the table like that. Ok, now food. Less than okay, at least for my experience. 1. Fried dough 3/10 You can definitely tell it’s handmade. However, this tastes nothing like what it supposed to taste like due to either the wrong type of flour or wrong technique or both. It tastes more like “fried cake” 2. Tofu (savory) 3/10 Very tasteless. The “dressing” or “drizzle” needs to be thick and flavorful. This one goes the opposite way. I can definitely see they tried. But still got way to go 3. Crepe (Jian Bing) 4/10 The crisp used is totally a different type than how it supposed to be. And it’s very soggy when served 4. Steam bun (Bao Zi) 5/10 The only thing I think it’s okay. But sadly this looks like the one they bought from market. Also, the plate design looks like some patients got TB and coughed onto it…please choose design mindfully. I had expectation but not satisfied at all. The good thing about this place is it opens early.

You new here? Good. Try out the rest of the menu because there is no place like it. I grew up in Asia and the soy milk and bread rivals what I had back at home. Great hospitality, highly recommend. I am coming back tomorrow for sure!

Trust me, you will come back again and again. I start coming here since this place open. Great food, friendly staffs, and comfortable environment! The food is excellent and as same as the taste in China. That brought me back to my home town taste even. I’ll come more and more and I’ll introduce to my friends as well!

First time trying SEE U MORNING and I was honestly impressed. I ordered the jianbing and the egg-stuffed youtiao, and both tasted very authentic—felt like a real Asian breakfast spot. The jianbing was thin and crispy without being soggy, and the youtiao inside was still crunchy, not oily or soft. The soy milk was also really good—tastes fresh and not overly sweet. Packaging was clean and cute, and you can tell they put effort into the details. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving Chinese breakfast 👍
